The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and high-quality, ready-to-use data is crucial to preparing for impacts from hazards. This session will explore the concept of AI-ready data - datasets that are well-structured, accessible, and enriched for machine learning applications. We invite presentations that discuss how such data can enhance resilience through advanced analytics, climate modeling, and real-time monitoring. Participants will hear from successful NOAA case studies where AI-driven initiatives have leveraged AI-ready data to support NOAA’s strategic goals. Presenters will address how they overcame challenges related to data quality, interoperability, and governance, offering strategies for fostering collaboration between data collectors and AI practitioners.
