The Data Management Handbook, issued in October of 2024, serves as a guiding resource for NOAA data managers, analysts, and scientists, through facilitation of data management practices in alignment with NOAA's role as a leading Federal agency for open data and science. Attendees are invited to a plenary session featuring Assistant Chief Data Officers, where they can engage in discussions and pose inquiries regarding the handbook, its implementation, its utilization, and the officers' broader responsibilities.
