NOAA’s mission is to understand and predict our changing environment, from the deep sea to outer space, and to manage and conserve America’s coastal and marine resources. Multi-billion dollar events are occurring at an increasing rate, with the annual average for the most recent 5 years (2020–2024) being events (CPI-adjusted). Join the plenary session to hear and ask questions about what the current gaps NOAA has with disaster resilience and what we can do to close them.
