Robert Redmon, Ph.D. is a senior scientist with NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) where he serves as the Director of the NOAA Center for Artificial Intelligence (NCAI,
noaa.gov/ai). He is also the lead for the Space Weather Follow On (SWFO) Science Center. He received a D.B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computational Mathematics from the University of California, Riverside, a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, and a PhD in Aerospace Engineering Sciences from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2012. He is a graduate of the 2021 NOAA Leadership Competencies Development Program (LCDP) class XI “Transformers”.
