About me
I'm a meteorologist who has worked for the federal government for almost 20 years. I'm currently the Senior Hydrometeorologist at the Colorado Basin River Forecast Center in Salt Lake City, where I specialize in flood forecasting, water supply predictions, and developing decision-making tools for the Colorado River Basin and the eastern Great Basin. Prior to this, I worked with Predictive Services at the Great Basin Coordination Center, supporting wildfire operations on a regional and national scale by providing short and long-term fire potential outlooks. I began my career in 2006 as a forecaster at the Salt Lake City Weather Forecast Office. Outside of work, I enjoy snowboarding, rock climbing, waterskiing, mountain biking, and reading, while attempting to balance the demands of raising three active children
